Juan Carlos Ordóñez

Guayaquil native Chef Juan Carlos Ordoñez trained in the International Buenos Aires Hotel and Restaurant School, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After returning to Ecuador, Ordoñez joined the Oro Verde hotel group in 2013, a leader in gastronomy in the country, to become Head of Banquets.
Ordoñez’s incredible signature style uses the traditions and customs of Ecuadorian cuisine as a starting point, and finishes with his spectacular visual touch.
